Life is a mystery in many ways.  Even as you read this article, there is “code behind the text.”  What appears to be, is not necessarily so.  There is always more to the story than meets the eye.

Take for example, when in the early 1900’s a few of the world’s wealthiest individuals boarded a train in New Jersey for Brunswick, Georgia.  They were not supposed to speak with each other, and if asked, they were to say they were going on a duck hunting trip.

Unbeknownst to the rest of the world, the blueprint for the Federal Reserve Board was hammered out in secret on Jekyll Island off the coast of Georgia.  In the words of documentary film producer, G. Edward Griffin, “The purpose of the meeting on Jekyll Island was not to hunt ducks.  Simply stated, it was to come to an agreement on the structure and operation of a banking cartel.”  Additionally, there was nothing “Federal” about this organization and there were no “reserves” to be had.

Fast forward to the financial crisis of 2008.  According to Chris MacIntosh, founder & Editor In Chief of the Capitalist Exploits Independent Investment Research, prior to this time political relationships and central bank policies among the world's largest economic blocks were largely harmonious and in sync.  As he points out, when the Global Financial Crisis of 2008 hit, this coordination rocketed to levels never previously experienced in our lifetimes.  Policy across all major central banks was coordinated behind the scenes.  (The code behind the text.)  The political language and narratives were carefully managed by politicians and central bankers across the world.

Commodities vs fiat currency.

Commodities vs fiat currency.

How does today's investor do battle in this type of economic and social climate where change and volatility are ever-present, and where no society in history has ever survived on a fiat money supply?

With the poor economic realities of massively indebted governments that have been in place for some time, for investors who understand risk and reward, there is a place they can turn to.   Could moving capital into real assets which are both liquid and undervalued be the answer?

Jamie Keech, believes this to be the case.  Jamie has amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience in his career as a mining engineer in project evaluation, mergers and acquisition, and resource investing.  He has been around the world many times and has worked on mining and exploration projects in the Yukon, Brazil, Albania, Mexico, Nevada, Mongolia, Peru, Colombia, and in almost every environment, ranging from the Arctic Circle to the Gobi Desert.

His newsletter, the Resource Insider, is definitely worth a look if your are serious about not following the crowd when it comes to wealth accumulation.  He invests his own capital in the opportunities he shares with his readers.  These opportunities are off limits to 99.9% of investors because they lack either the connections or capital to participate.

The best mining and natural resource investment newsletter.

The best mining and natural resource investment newsletter.

As Jamie travels the world for Resource Insider opportunities, he is not afraid to get his hands dirty.  He makes the information he uncovers available to his readers.  His newsletter can be broken down into 3 components:

  • Access to Great Opportunities - Based in Vancouver and with a background in mining engineering, Jamie is one of the world's most connected natural resource investors.  This enables him to level the playing field, and secure allocation for members of the Resource Insider alongside billionaires, investment banks and hedge funds, all on the same terms.
  • In Depth Investment Research - Ground level research on mining opportunities is not easy, nor is it cheap.  Jamie searches the world performing on-site due diligence for opportunities as they arise.   He employs his vast network of experts in mining financing, geology and engineering to vet all deals.  Not only does he give you the professional research, but his newsletter eliminates the time consuming content that is not relevant or necessary.
  • Partnership – What sets Jamie apart from other newsletter writers is that he personally invests in each opportunity he shares in his Resource Insider readers.  He also will disclose any potential conflicts.  The real benefit here is in knowing that his goals are perfectly aligned with those of his readers.  As Jamie will tell you, the Resource Insider is not some newsletter; it's my life's work, with me risking not only my money, but my reputation to deliver the service.

Wealth building with private placements – private investment in public equities (PIPES).

Wealth building with private placements – private investment in public equities (PIPES).

Jamie prefers to participate in private placement because it gives him the following advantages over traditional investment instruments:

  • Private placements are catalytic capital.  The money invested goes directly into the company to complete value-add work, not to some traders account on the other side of the country.  PIPES also have the combined potential of massive upsides and near-term liquidity.  Done properly this should increase the value of the company and therefore the investment.
  • Participating in private placements allows you to get to know who you are backing.  Jamie  researches the management team, learns about the projects, and reaches out to the company to hear the plan straight from the horse's mouth.  He meets with the people he’s putting his capital behind, and listens to them tell him face-to-face what it will be used for.  Anyone can put together a flashy website or PowerPoint presentation.  It is harder to fake it in person, especially when Jamie gets to ask as many questions as he wants. When someone tells him how they are going to spend his money, he holds them accountable to that.
  • Negotiation.  This is huge.  It allows Jamie to negotiate the price paid.  Whether it is for a discount or the inclusion of warrants, when a company completes an equity financing, he has a say in what is willing to be paid.

Mining, energy, and natural resource newsletters for private placements - some final thoughts .

Mining, energy, and natural resource newsletters for private placements - some final thoughts .

Having been trained on Wall Street as a stock broker myself, it’s apparent from the materials I have researched that Jamie's newsletter is set apart from the competition.  He is truly an insider when it comes resource investing.  Jamie can not only show you how to navigate this field, but he will bring you in on the deals he’s investing in; deals that are simply not available to outsiders.

If you're an accredited investor looking to position your capital to take advantage of the deep value that currently exists in mining, metals and energy, I would highly recommend becoming a Resource Insider.
